The Golden Visa system represents the UAE's strategy to attract and retain talent and investment, thereby fostering long-term economic growth and societal development.

A Golden Residence in the UAE, often referred to as the Golden Visa, is a long-term residency permit that allows foreign talents to live, work, or study in the UAE for an extended period, typically 5 or 10 years, without the need for a national sponsor.

This visa is renewable and offers a range of exclusive benefits aimed at attracting investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals to contribute to the country's economic and social development.

Eligibility Categories:

Investors: Those who invest at least AED 2 million in property, investment funds, or public investments.

Entrepreneurs: Individuals with a successful project of at least AED 500,000 or approved by an accredited business incubator in the UAE.

Specialized Talents: This includes doctors, scientists, inventors, creatives in culture and art, and other professionals with expertise in fields prioritized by the UAE. Eligibility often requires specific accreditations or awards.

Outstanding Students and Graduates: Students with high academic achievements, both within and outside the UAE, especially those with a GPA of 3.75 or above.

Humanitarian Pioneers and Frontline Heroes: Recognized for significant contributions or extraordinary efforts during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Key Benefits:

• Long-Term Residency: Renewable for 5 or 10 years, providing stability without the need for a sponsor.‍
• No Sponsor Requirement: Expatriates can live, work, and study without needing a UAE national sponsor, which is a significant advantage over traditional visa systems.‍
• Family Sponsorship: Holders can sponsor their family members, including spouses, children, and in some cases, parents or siblings, for residency. There's no age limit for children under this visa.‍
• Business Ownership: Allows 100% ownership of businesses on the UAE mainland, which was previously restricted.‍
